Step 1Create a new layer, then make a circle with the selection tool. Set the foreground color to #6D707D and the background to #2D2E36. Select the gradient tool and drag it upwards similar to the image on the right. |

Step 2You should end up with something like this. Go to select > modify > contract and set the value to 15. This will make the selection smaller. After you have finshed contracting the selection go to select > modify > smooth and set the value to 12, which will elimate jagged edges. |

Step 3Create a new layer, and select 'foreground to transperant' in the gradient option, and set the foreground color to white (#ffffff). Proceed to draw a gradient like shown on the left. |

Step 4Deselect the circle and move the layer to the top of the outer circle, like shown below. Double click the layer with the large blue circle we created earlier. The layer style dialog box will come up. Go to 'outer glow' and use the following settings...blend mode: normal opacity: 75% size: 27px choke: 0 You may leave the rest of the settings as default. |

Step 5Hold down ctrl and click the same layer in the layers palette to select the outer perimeter. Make sure your foreground color is set to #ffffff. Create a new layer at the top then select the gradient tool, then click at the bottom and drag around 1/3 of the way up, to create something similar to the image on the left. |

Step 6Set the layer's blend mode to overlay and opacity to 62%. Then your done! |
